September, 6th 2016, By wearing their traditional dresses, the DRI students and the new students of ABM plant orchids on the pine garden for creating a “Green Campus”. This moment has been supported by the governor of Malang, “Abah Anton”, who concern with the beautiful Malang as the brand of Malang city.
Anton strongly support the efforts STIE Malangkucecwara Rector Drs. Bunyamin MM., Ph.D to make the campus as a campus of orchids. “I will be working with the college to realize the orchid campus, “said Anton. He also promised that if his guests visiting Malang, he will introduce STIE Malangkucecwara as orchids campus.
According to Anton, the effort of the rector STIE Malangkucecwara appropriate government programs to realize “karakter kelurahan”, “so the campus there must also be a character in particular,” said Anton.
With the orchid as a campus icon, he hopes students can reap the properties of orchids: can be planted anywhere, and still beautiful.
According to him, new student at STIE Malangkucecwara must be ready to face the digital quickly. Thus, students are required to be more creative. “The progress of our economy lies in the creativity of students. If the student does not have the creativity, means that our economy will be paralyzed, ” he explained
